I know most people like the song and want it to be played at the beginning of the game (myself included) cause it gets the fans on thier feet, but.....

I was thinking the other day, and what if we used Joker and the Thief for our get up song for the start of the second half?

It would be a good way of letting the crowd know the 2nd half is about to start and getting them excited. I dont think we have a problem getting people excited about tip off, but the 2nd half always starts out slow, In my opinion, Joker and the thief would be the perfect way to start the 2nd half.

What does everyone else think?
 
That would take planning, organization, and execution by the department. Heavens, they can't even remind Robb to say, "Everybody Up."

But agreed...something needs to be done to get people up at the start of the second half. Yikes, it is completely dead.
 
This whole Joker dilemma is hilarious.

Gotta get the crowd going to start the halves. Something needs to be played. I think, Weber tried this a few years ago in the conference tourny or at the end of the season. To me, it was a success. It got the fans up and going. It might have been as long ago as 2007. Does anyone else remember when they tried this?
 
Got to play Joker at the start & definately something to open the 2nd half. Why is this so damn complicated. Open your damn eyes Bovee, you must have a fun atmosphere. People might just come back because it's fun. Even if they're not diehards. Last I checked there is plenty of empty seats in fact WSU is yet to ever have a sellout in it's entire history at the Dee.
