I'd imagine the game will be friday night because both semi final games will be televised and I believe the saturday game is 9 am our team, makes more sense to have Delaware host the Saturday game and Eastern the Friday game...but we will see tomorrow.
What a win today....we need a LOT more support next weekend...
Send me a PM and we can talk.JoinTheEAA said:Completely agree, 5:00 pm game time Friday is a challenge. Need to find some sponsors who can buy blocks of tickets, $100 should buy us 10 end zone tickets. I can get local Boy Scouts, Campfire Boys and Girls, Martin Luther King Center, Special Olympics or other local groups on the phone this week and see if they can get to Cheney and watch some great college football. If someone can put up $500, I will contact EWU and see how many end zone tickets that will buy. Contact me if you have ideas, let's get to 5000 this Friday night, which was around our season average.
If you were on Roos Field right after the game you saw how much our guys appreciate their fans. So many smiling faces. What an outstanding group of young men and I cannot say enough about our staff. Many folks who follow this blog know how far EWU football stretches their resources. This staff works as hard as any in the nation. Thank you Beau Baldwin and all the coaches for a magical season. Let's keep it going but win or lose Friday our home season has just been unbelievable this year. Let's go 8-0 on the Red.
Time to put the challenge up to the City of Spokane!!!! Get ur asses out there and support the #1 team in the country!!!! Don't think the Zags are much of a threat right now!!! Ya, no kidding. Our attendance in these two playoff games has been downright embarrassing. Far worse that in 2004 and 2007. I'm not getting it. I don't know what the answer is, but we need to do a far better job of getting people out to the game next week. Oh wait, I said that last week.

Let's face it. 'Nova's NOT going to be worried over our offense and have to game plan even CLOSE to what they would have had to had TJ been ready to go.
But...maybe we can give them a couple of new wrinkles? Let Edwards or Gant make some plays...we'll see!
We're not expected to even give them a game ! Let's see, 3rd road game in a row, 4 days rest, 3000 mi. plane trip, red turf, no crowd noise, THAT'S WHT WE PLAY the GAME!!! GOEAGS!kalm said:bkafflen said:Hurry up-type, quick outs, bubble screens, and letting high % passes open up a running game is going to be our best bet. Yes, open up the playbook, more misdirection stuff, maybe a reverse or two. It seems like we've seen less of that stuff with Mitchell than we did with Nichols. We have to do everything we can to give BLM more time. Our o-line got pushed around a little yesterday and it took NDSU settling into a prevent on the last drive for BLM to hit his stride. I would expect Nova to scout this and bring the heat which is all the more reason to be ready with screens. How the o-line performs on Friday will go a long way to determining the outcome.
