Senglin, got to have him, but we've had 15 assists each

Of the last 3 games. With Senglin slated to play Thursday how does everything come together?

This team has played pretty selfish ball most of the season.

He's not a PG........he's a better two guard! Senglin is a tremendous player, but we are a better TEAM when he's not at point! He'd rather go 0-10 then have 10 assist! That's what worries me about next year. If Rahe keeps him at PG...... It's going to be another long year!

I couldn't disagree with you more, Meow. Senglin has been developing into a very efficient point guard. Also, he has been and is our best shooter. This year, he has been the only guy we had who could create his own shot. He is our best player and, outside of Hajek, the best leader. What we saw this year was his transition from playing primarily on the wing. What we will see next year is a more finished product. It's going to help him a lot to have a true 5 and a true 4 on the floor with him.

I'm excited for Jeremy's future and WSU's future.

Catscratch.... How is he efficient ? Yes he scores a ton, but the key to a pg is including your other teammates, not doing it all yourself! The key to making this team better is getting everyone involved...... Senglin is a great athlete and will be a great Weber State player, but I too think he's a better two than one! His shoot first mentality means that others are standing around watching him instead of being part of the offense. Jeremy is awesome, but the team has played better without him.

I'm excited about Jeremy's future too, but more excited about Hunter and Cannon at PG! :stir:

It makes for an interesting debate, but whoever grades out to be the best point guard, over the summer and fall, will be the starting point guard. After that, who ever grades out second will be the back up. The guy that grades out third will either red shirt or not play much in the absence of injuries. That same scenario will play out with all of the positions and all off the players. What happened this year may be part of the equation, but not a huge part of it.

If it is Senglin or someone else, that position will seem much better next year, for a variety of reasons. :twocents:

No doubt Senglin is a great player but I don't know why he couldn't be just as good as a 2. Hunter has great PG skills and certainly doesn't look to shoot so Senglin would still be able to look to score, just maybe limit the number of time he drives into 2-3 post defenders.

Just for fun...
