I have some inside info that Shai Fields did indeed give our coaches a verbal commitment to play for WSU starting with the 2011-12 season. This is a huge get for us. The coaches believe he is a better player than Jordan Baker. Wooooooo!

That is great news. When I met Shai and his mom, last Friday, I was fairly sure that this would happen. He comes from a great family and has tremendous potential. I think he is going to be a great player for us. I will certainly want to follow his progress as a senior this year. Sounds like he has a major league stroke and can handle the ball, as well. He is young and still growing fast. Huge up side!

That is HUGE!! Did anyone else notice that he was getting medium interest from Texas and that Texas Tech, the Aggies of A&M, Houston, and Oregon were all looking at him? Wow...I think Weber just got a huge steal.
