Shirts seem to be a new topic at PSU. When PSU played Sac State at home, Jones had a t-shirt to throw to the crowd. Instead of doing so, she trotted across the court and gave it to Katy Wade along with a hug. Yesterday, Murrel told the players that they were not to give Wade anymore t-shirts. This and other derogatory comments she has made about Wade are immature at best. She needs to grow up and control her temper. I don't know why Wade quit the team, but she has a right to do so. She wasn't playing even when the team was being killed in the paint and on the boards and I wish her luck wherever she goes for her Senior season. One thing Murrel is going to have difficulty doing is erasing Wade's name from the PSU and Big Sky record books.
 
No way, Jose. I take it you don't think doing what Murrel did was petty and immature. If so, make a reasonable argument instead of a two line disparaging remark. Now you tell me why the players shouldn't continue to be Wade's friends and why a coach should try to interfere in such friendships.
 
The problem I have is with Ratso47 constantly attacking coach Murrell. She may not be perfect, but, without naming names, I believe your comments and actions cross the line of civility. I think everyone knows who you are and there is a selfishness to your actions that have the potential to do more harm to this team than good. You've made your decision. 'Nuff said.
