Should Trevyn Smith be conference POW?

His numbers from Sat vs Idaho St were pretty good.

177 net rushing yards on 28 carries for an average of 6.3 yards per carry with 2 rushing TDs &
31 receiving yards on 7 catches. 208 total yards, 2 TDs.

Alex Henderson for Northern Arizona also had a big game vs Southern Utah.

168 net rushing yards on 32 carries for an average of 5.2 yards per carry with 3 rushing TDs &
64 receiving yards on 3 catches. 232 total yards, 3 TDs.

I think it goes to Trevyn due to Weber playing a conference opponent.

Looks like the conference played it safe and named Smith and Henderson Co-Offensive Players of the Week.

"The Big Sky Conference has selected its football Players of the Week for games played on Saturday, Sept. 19. Weber State running back Trevyn Smith and Northern Arizona running back Alex Henderson have been named Co-Offensive Players of the Week."

"Smith, a 5-foot-9, 210-pound senior from Springville, Utah, carried the ball 20 times for 177 yards and scored on runs of 20 and 2 yards in No. 13 Weber State’s 44-17 conference win over Idaho State. Smith also had seven catches for 31 yards to finish with 208 all-purpose yards. Smith became the school’s all-time leader in all-purpose yards with 5,991. It was Smith’s 21st 100-yard rushing game, and this marks the fourth time he has been named Player of the Week."

Congrats, Trevyn!

Smith did well on Sat. I've noticed that Weber has been obsessed with the screen, why not mix it up a bit and throw out some shuffle passes? In my opinion there has been little imagination in the offense. The team has a very large playbook, mix it up a bit.
