I won't mention names here since you guys probably know all of them anyway. But I think they have pretty snazzy credentials and should get a look-see. They probably won't, though....

1. Former Assistant HC. Consistent Top 20 FBS Recruiting Classes last six years. Has coached stellar OL, DL, TE, Special Teams units. FBS Run-Game Coordinator at previous stop.

2. Former Acting HC. Produced record-breaking offenses at two different schools. Coached several big-name quarterbacks, including Phillip Rivers. Three straight 1,000-yard rushers. Bowl wins. NFL coaching experience.

3. Acting JC HC. Top 10 in State in PPG, rushing, and total offense. Coached 13 OLs to 4-year schools. Owns incredible college line clinic program with tons of success. FBS coaching experience.

4. Former FCS HC. Produced 409-yard rusher/CFL HOFer and CFL stand-out quarterback.

5. Former FCS OC with prolific pass offense. Former Sac area HS HC who turned school around from a handful of wins over several years to the playoffs. Also had a hand in said CFL HOF RB and Grey Cup-winning QB.

I brought names in the other thred, but realistically Wanless isn't looking for a coach right now and probably won't start to look until November. Sears has been given the opportunity one more time to prove himself as an HC. If he doesn't cut it, he needs to stick to DC jobs only.

I hope he skips the JC list this time. I really hope he looks at that tiny DIII program in Ventura County- CLU. That program has produced the coaching likes of Urban Meyer, his current OC- Tom Hermann, and Stanford's STs Coordinator- Pete Alamar.
