Attended practice today, and watched the team getting ready for SHSU. Score Board was lit up, music blasting with the score 45-42 each day during the practice. As you may have known, we lost to SHSU 45-42, after trailing 35-0 at the 1st half. Met two of the Recruits today, DJ Martin RB, and Keonte White, CB. Both men will be props for this year. Made sure I expressed how much it means for their grades to be maintained at a high level, that their education is #1 priority, #2 priority, is Football. All seems like great young men. Everything is "yes Sir/no sir", maybe they noticed the bald head/grey hair, what's left of it , glad to see they are here and registered for classes.
Now it is their responsibility to study hard, and keep their grades where they should be. Left practice about 5:10pm, windy and cold. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace
