Signs & stuff for the tournament

I am going to get some Fat Heads and signs made for the Big Sky tournament. It is kind of hard where we don't who is in the tournament, let alone who we will be playing. It has been a while since we have been on ESPN, so I want to make some nice stuff.

Some ideas so far:
A Troy Huff Fathead wearing the Hot Dog on a Stick hat.
A fire Jimmy Casas sign.

What are your ideas?

I am hoping we get to play North Dakota so we can have Hot Dog Huff version 2.0. But that game would likely be the championship and the conference is way too close to make any assumptions. We would only have on day to prepare

It all adds to the fun atmosphere, but I would say make sure you keep it "nice" & don't make it a "not-classy" personal attack on any player, coach, or school. I like the player's/coach's fat heads & would suggest you add some funny cartoon characters or other comedy figure fat heads. Have enjoyed those active, supporting students who've showed up, yelled, painted up, wore purple wigs, whatever that really adds to the college game atmosphere. Have fun you great students & thank you!! :thumb:
And thank you! 'webergrad02' !!!!!!

PS: Seem to recall there was an issue at the last BSC tourney hosted at the DEC about signs in the background of the basketball standards...either something with what was on the signs or the signs themselves, I think they were removed from fans...you might want to check with those in charge on what the conference office disallows. :twocents:

I wish that the students were sitting behind the 2nd half basket for visiting teams.... I know the students hate that idea, but it would be soo much more beneficial being 20 feet away from the action (or free throw shooter) than 180 ft. away and behind them... I can only imagine how nice it would be to have students waving signs and such behind the 2nd half basket. ( I would actually really like to see the visiting team going the direction WSU currently does for the 2nd half.. I actually think the visiting team currently has an advantage, as they shoot towards that tunnel/access thing. There isnt much to distract them while shooting, its just empty space they see... I vote flip the teams around....)

I know maddawg and kilt, you prefer your "prime" seating... but if you really care about the outcome of the game, one day seating behind the teams basket, it the right move..... :twocents:

During the tournament students have seats behind the away basket. Since they lose Section A to away fans, the conference makes up for it by giving students the normal away section that is right behind the basket and above the away team.

Why doesn't the university just do what other schools do, give away fans crappy seats and then give the extra seats to the students and keep the students in A, B, and C?

I badly wanted to make a huge poster with this on it for last year's home game against Montana. It would've been better for the championship game if we hosted the tourney, though.

This is a good one for the Griz.

 Like it, but in the back of my mind is a whisper (maybe more an anxiety about the lack of success BSC teams have against the big boys at the big dance, with a few exceptions--as in thanks, Coach A !!), just hope that it doesn't come back to haunt us :yikes:

Last year's CIT post-season action was a :thumb: for Coach Rahe, but call me a pessimist, I don't feel confident yet in his coaching success in post season tourney action.

You're not a pessimist. You subscribe to reality, not nostalgia. I can appreciate that. :thumb:
