Simpson Exhibition game

Finally we get to see the newest version of the Hornets. It should be interesting, seeing some of the sophomores who didn't get much time last year, spread their wings. Also to see the freshmen get on the court. This will be our only opportunity to see Joshua Patton and Aaron Harmetz as they can play the exhibition even though they are red-shirting. I'm just glad to see the season get started. As far as the game goes, it shouldn't be much of a contest.

40 point win.

Nice to see the season starting.

And a nice crowd of 500 at Hornet Gym.

Good luck starting the regular season at Arizona State!!!

The 68th season of Hornet basketball begins!!

Mason struggled, Wu was wow! I'm kinda excited to see what this team can do with a little size and experience. Hoping some fantastic guard play will manifest itself!!!!

A total rout in this exhibition. Looks like a lot of time was doled out to the whole roster. Strings with 15 and 7. 40% as a team from the arc. Not a bad start. PGP thoughts?

I loved it!!!! I'll stick with my post about the practice I saw. The Hornets should be somewhere in the top 3-4 in the BSC with a chance to be even better than that with some luck and confidence. Mason did struggle but in the end he buried a few and you could see in his eyes he knew he could score at will. He's still a bit behind on defense. I loved Wu, he didn't look like a freshman and Katz will have to find minutes for him. He's too good to sit even on defense. Justin looked just like I said in the other post. Nick Hornsby is a complete player and a beast. Cody didn't have to carry the offense at all but he is capable if needed. Marcus is smooth and extremely athletic. I'm cautiously very optimistic with this team. I think we will sneak up on a few teams before they realize we aren't taking the big step back that they think we will.
