Hey everyone -
I'm new to the board - but a long-time Eagle fan.
I put together this little video about last year's experience - but it's more than that. It's a deeper look at how far this program has come in such a short time. This football program almost died less than two years ago. Do you all realize that?
Anyways - I hope you enjoy it.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for putting that together EWUguy. :thumb:

I wouldn't say almost died... I don't think the program was ever in serious jeopardy of being scrapped. But there was talk of it, mostly from an academic or two that didn't see it as a real necessity. Fortunately for the University, athletes and fans, everyone else didn't see it that way.

Love the final clip! :D You have a gallery of photos from the Villanova game? I'd like to get a hi-res copy of one or two if possible for posterity's sake. I'm in there somewhere.

Do you mean the crowd on the field shots? If so, yes, I can email those to you

I'll be totally honest w/ you - I had no idea who Split Enz was until I Googled them. I love that song because I like the band Crowded House (Neil Finn) and I like Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam lead singer who sings on the particular track used on this video). The version used in this video is from a Neil Finn solo show in New Zealand from like 01 or 02 something. He had a bunch of guests join him for songs. Thanks for introducing me to Split Enz though - good to know where Neil got started.

That was fabulous!! I love getting the opportunity to live that awesome season and champion feeling over and over and over! I still can't believe how everything transpired but when I watch things like this it all makes sense.... they are the best and they played with the biggest hearts of any team out there!!! Love it and thank you so much for sharing!!
