Okay, so the Cats don't have a game for a week. This time period is valuable for the Cats to evaluate areas of their game that need to be honed. Automatically, I would say, that the team needs to work on three areas: Finishing around the basket, defensive pressure, and cutting down on turnovers.

Jacksonville and Saint Mary's should be two solid games for the Cats. I hope the team isn't overlooking Jacksonville in anticipation for the rematch with Saint Mary's. Gotta take it, one game at a time.

We are outrebounding our opponenets so far, but we need more of an offensive inside presence. Tresnak was the unsung hero on Saturday, We also do need to improve defense, we did have 5 blocks, and we did force Irvine to shoot some really bad shots, but we could do a little better.

Also our bigs need to go strong to the basket, I know its not Fulton's game, but until that Karl Malone fadeaway starts falling, go up stronger.

:agree: :agree:

I see that the Weber/Jacksonville game is showing a video feed ($7.95 per month for SMC). The championship, however, shows no coverage. St. Marys is an ESPN favorite, but I could find ho mention on ESPN3, ESPNU or ESPN2 etc for that game.

Anyone know if coverage will happen via another means?

I would save your money on the SMC feed. My alma mater played out there two years ago, and the production value was high schoolish (e.g. the camera people were talking over the audio about their plans for the night).

I'm hoping Weber comes out and plays well. Lillard hasn't had a great shooting night yet, pretty amazing he is averaging over 20 and isn't shooting as well as we are accustomed to seeing him shoot. He, Mook, J-Rich, and Berry's families will be at the games to watch the Wildcats. They get into it too!! A couple seasons ago, Bengalhater and I drove out to Sac for a game against the Hornets. We were shocked when we got there!! It was very close to being a home game for the Cats, and it was primarily only Lillards family in the stands. Add on three more players and their families...LOOOOOOOOL...I'm thinking, at least, the game Sunday night will be a home game for the Cats. I know catcat and wiiife will be there. To bad it is a Sun/Mon tourny. I would have gone if it was Today and Tomorrow. Oh yeah, Olds will be there too. Yell loud for me Runner!!!

I'm in Cal now and have purchased my tics. I'll play a little b-ball in the morning, do a little running in the afternoon, hit a few meals inbetween, and be ready to yell my lungs out Sunday night. Lets get ready to RUMBLE!!!!!

Holy crap it feels like the team hasn't played in a month. Can tomorrow come soon enough? :help:

I know, I have been watching other college games but none of them gets me as excited as when I watch Weber State basketball.

Saint Mary's College's Shamrock Classic to serve as a homecoming for former OAL stars Frank Otis and Damian Lillard, now with Weber State

pretty cool to see this article. The local media does very little to cover any bay area college teams ha ha. You wouldn't know cal is ranked or that Stanford football is top 10 or that there is such thing as sjsu.

Go Weber! Lets get the win on Sun!
