Playing defense like they got a stick somewhere it shouldn't be. I knew we were going to lose when I saw the starting lineup. We don't even begin trying to play D until we are 10 points down, and then there is always one or two guys who just don't get it. I'm not going to name anyone because it really is quite evident. I think that the coaches need to step back a mile or two and re-evaluate things. They are too close to the problem. They can't see the forest for the trees. :shocking:
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Football!! In all seriousness, I am excited to see what Hill does next Fall.
Anyway, totally agree with you. The coaches need to take a huge step back and reevaluate the issue. They recruited this team to run. So...and it doesn't take an Einstein to realize this, LET them run. 40 secs to go down, what 5, and Duft is calling a play from the sidelines?? Seriously?? Put the stupid cards away and let the team run. The team had just taken a timeout, can't the coaches give them a play? A, "this is what I want to see once we get the ball back," other than look at the cards, slow down the offense, go into a half-court set, with 40secs left and down by 5. SMART?? :thumb:
