soldout football games

I think the OSU/PSU game in the 80s was a sellout.

Since the move to D1AA, no.

now that I think about it, the Grambling game was pretty close to capacity a few years back...

Yes the athletic Department puts the Picture of the Grambling game all over the office and in PSU literature because if it wasn't sold out it was pretty close.

I wasn't at the school yet but older players said that a majority of the fans were rooting for Grambling.

If the UC davis Game has 13K that would be an incredible success.

See you all there.

I was at the Grambling game. I don't remember the attendance number, but they announced at the game that it was one of the 10 biggest crowds in Vikings history. Grambling brought a ton of fans to the game, and that really helped the numbers. Even with that, it wasn't close to a sellout. They might have had 16k or so.

The North Alabama game in 1994(?) was about 22 - 23,000. That was close to a sell-out at the time. It was also memorable because we outdrew OSU that same day.

I don't think that will ever happen again. But with progress at least PGE can be filled up. If that ever happens I will be there when it does.
