ISU released its Academic Progress Rate scores for the 2015-16 school year today. The men's basketball team scored just 898. They are still eligible for post-season play with a four-year score of 959, but they are under the gun to perform in the academic year just ended. We'll see how all this plays out. In order to remain eligible for post season play, you have to have a 930 four-year average.
The way APR works is each athlete gets one point for staying in school and one point for being academically eligible. A team's total points are divided by points possible and then multiplied by 1000.
PS--The women's team recorded its third perfect score in the last five years. The football team posted a 947 and a four-year average of 966.
