Soon there will be a big bear in your stadium

"Soon there will be a big bear in your Stadium. For some people, the bear is easy to see. Others don't see it at all. Some people say the bear is tame. Others say it's vicious and dangerous. Since no one can really be sure who's right, isn't it smart to not mess with the bear in the first place and just rollover and give up rather than get smacked and hurt badly? If there is a bear do you really think EWU can tame a bear without getting seriously hurt?" Wouldn't it be best to leave the Bear alone and let him pass to Frisco...where we all know he truly belongs...

Naw, this is Eagle country. We don't take kindly to rogue bears, Grizzlies, or black bears.

Hope some of your fans can make the trip.

From what I saw today...U.C. Davis was having an issue stopping the run with your running backs...
Both JSU and Weber State had a problem running the ball on us. I would expect our TFL (tackles for losses)
will be up there with your team as well. You guys seemed to start slowly tonite...I honestly thought that Maine
would be headed to Davis instead of Cheney...but your QB worries me...

Don't forget Richmond.

EWU usually ends up on the winning end of our CAA matchups.

Clearly too late. Apparently scoring points is a requirement to be remembered. Hopefully Maine is up to the task.

We've been starting slowly on offense lately. Can't afford that against Maine's stout D. Our QB is still young and learning. He'll make some inaccurate throws, take some ugly losses due to indecisiveness, but he'll make up for it with his feet and improvisational skills. Should be a frustrating game to watch for both sides.

This is going to be a hard fought tough game down in the trenches on both sides of the ball...that is kind of how I see this game playing out...glad we got a Saturday game instead of these Friday nite trips to Ogden, Utah where you have to drive two hours from the Airport to get to Weber State..and get some strange Referees as well...what a bunch of strange calls...Maine was just glad to get out of Ogden...

Our QB did not have a good game against Weber. To be fair Webers defense had something to do with that but Jefferson burnt them on a couple of long runs. But Maine did not open up the offense like they normally do and we had some strange running calls from the OC. Somewhat Conservative. That won't be the case against EWU. Both Maine and EWU are cold weather teams as well..Should be an excellent matchup...

At least I try to stay on the topic at hand...namely the Maine Blackhole defense...

Y'all have a good defense. Those linebackers are nice.

Good luck to all those traveling out west. I hope a lot of you can make it and experience THE INFERNO.

Hate to say it , but I was up on the mountin yesterday behind the house muzzloading, looking for an elk, you do know what those are? All the bears are in hibernation. It was 10 below when the sun came up and I didn't see even one of your little black critters roaming the woods. I'm sure a lot of your critters will be headed our way next saturday. The rut for elk ended the first week of october, I guess we will just have to play the game, and let the best team win.I will be rooting for the Eagles of course!
Eagles own the Sky, and all of the farm land the mountins lakes and rivers that make up Eastern Washington!

Yes I agree let it be played on the field....just curious did you see any bigfoot tracks...I hear that you have a few of them out here...

No, I really dont believe in them! Have had a lot of really cool encounters with all sorts of critters in my lifetime. You should take out some time exploring the beautiful state of washington while your here. Thats a compliment comming from a native Idahoan/ Eagle Fan. Well have a safe trip , hopeing for a injury free game, a Eagle win , and maybee a copy of Maines moose hunting regs.

Hey no problem. Here is the URL to get a copy of our Moose Hunting Regulations...
https://www.maine.gov/ifw/hunting-trapping/licenses-permits/index.html

Not sure I see much Sport in it. My Uncle used to place Molasses at his hunting camp in Maine on stumps
back in Maine because they love Molasses but that was before you could even hunt Moose in those days. They were all over our State in those days. There is not Sport in it because it is like Hunting a cow in the woods. Either way these days you have to apply for a Permit to hunt a Moose in Maine. I don't like it because they are very curious creatures...back in Maine and it just great to See one. I have a camp myself up near Moosehead Lake and we used to see them all the time. Now, they have become somewhat skiddish
and you just don't see them as much since they started this hunting season on them...

It is common knowledge that we OWN the grizzlies of Montana so a little 'ol blackie is not much of a threat!

Thank you for the regs, on the moose hunting, Idaho only alows one bull moose in a lifetime, I heard Main had a lot of moose, but if they only giveout 2500 tags for the state I might have to try Canada.

Our neighbor who is a 80year old widow, went into her garage this fall only to discover a rather large black bear. After someyelling and a few whacks with a shovel, she sent the bear on its way. Hopeing for the same result saturday! Go EAGS!!!
