There was a good story in the Journal this week on the men's basketball team. Bill Evans said if he had to pick a starting lineup today, it would be Telfair at point, Faruqbey and Nwosuh on the wings, Wilson at the four and Topalovic at center. Small ball here we come. I can't link from my phone but you can find the story on the Journal web site.

I am of the opinion that this team had better trap and press at a very high level. They will need to force turnovers, hit the three and defend the three. If opponents can make ISU play in the half court set and deep into the shot clock, I will be worried. If they can get out, force the tempo and score in transition, I think the team can improve some or at least get moved in the right direction for the season after next.

What ever they go with I bet they will make the big Sky tournament this year :D .

What should we expect this season? More then 10 wins ?

It appears recruiting has ticked up. Small ball should be better than slow unable to defend or get open ball. I wish Evans well this year.
