• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

... have no idea what a chop block is. Their conference needs to thoroughly review that officiating crew, because they threw 3 flags for chop blocks and reviews showed not a single one was actually a chop.

If you play a guy head-up and take his legs away, that's just a good cut block... clean, legit, and exactly as coached. A chop block needs to be from behind or low to the legs when a defender is engaged.

It didn't matter in the whole scheme of things, as our offense still did their part and it was the other side of the ball that was a disaster... but you still expect refs at a DI level to know what the hell is a penalty and what is not.

Agreed, but it did make a difference in the game... Stopped two 2nd half offensive drives when the game was in reach.

All said, this game was expected to be an offensive shoot out (us through the air and them on the ground) and neither team will get the final prize if they can't shore up their defense some what!!

To keep things in perspective, if, at the beginning of the OC'S, someone said you'd finish 2-2, guess we'd take it.
