Southwest Game

OK. This week we have the Southwest School of Cosmetology coming to town. If you like lop sided, stat padding games, you'll love this one. Our cheer squad may get significant minutes in this one. I just might ask Randy if I can suit up. Bradford may end up with 30 points and 15 rebounds against the 'Fighting Blow Driers'. I guess we can call it a 'holiday feel good game'. I say 130 - 42 will be the finale, unless Randy tells the cheer squad to quit playing.

As boring as this game is bound to be, I need my Weber State basketball fix for the week so will most likely go. :coffee:

GO WEBER

Oh, I will be there. I wouldn't miss a chance to see everyone playing and having a good time. I think that we will see some monster dunks, a few oops, a lot of running, and a little bit of gunning. Like I said, this is a feel good game. I think that Randy will make some noises about playing within the system, but ultimately, this game is about getting untracked and playing with aggressive, free flowing, concentration.
I expect suffocating defense that leads to a lot of easy buckets. I'm not sure that anyone will get more than 25 minutes playing time in this one. It will be a blowout, but it should be a lot of fun.

I'm hoping that we get good attendance. It is sort of a down weekend, between holidays. There are, probably, a lot of students out of town. However, there are many local students who should show up. Season ticket holders should also attend well. I'm thinking 5,000 to 6,000 will be there. :thumb:

I think attendance will be season low, 4,900. School is out and its a non d1.

I'm ok with this game as its good timing for a practice game. Of course I would like to see it against Idaho or a Big West but it's time to be in conf mode...

Attendence was listed as 5,822. There were not a lot of students, but the season tickets side looked fairly good. I saw a lot of people at the ticket booths. I think there were over 5,000 people there. The game turned out to be what I thought it would be. I think we could have scored more if we would have wanted to. OUr defense was good the whole game. They were not a very good team.
