I know according the the release this is the 11th FBS win...off the top of my head I am struggling to come up with some of them...any ideas what ones I am missing?
Looking in the fact book they are i guess counting games that were FCS at the time then when moved up we count the as FBS games....

We had two wins over Long Beach State in the 80s when they were part of the old Big West Conference. We beat Utah State in the late 90s, and Boise State when they were FBS.
Interesting factoid, Eastern was still a D2 when they beat Long Beach State the first time.
I'll never forget the 2005 game in Missoula. Eastern was clinging to the lead late, and Erik Meyer hit Raul Vijil in the back of the end zone to ice it. Man was that fun. A couple more that come to mind were the 2004 and 2014 games against MSU on the road. Eastern overcame a 31-10 deficit in the 3rd quarter in 04, and Vern scored that winning 2 point conversion in 2014. Finally, the 04 playoff game against #1 SIU was epic. I can remember sitting in my car listening to Larry on the radio, then screaming my brains out when we iced the win. Erik Meyer wasn't the biggest or fastest QB we've ever had, but he was tough as nails and could absolutely gut the best defenses. We've been spoiled.

93,that 2004 SIU game(35-31) was something. Meyer threw to Kimble, Vijil and Craig Mac and others for 437 3td.1int. Washington ran for over 100yds.
Brandon Jacobs SIU(had 168 yds rushing) was the best RB I've seen EWU play against. They also had NFL RB Arkee Whitlock in a 2 back attack. Jacobs was 6'4..265lbs.. 4.56 40 meters time...10.82 100 meters 21.59 200 meters New York Giants star running back for years. He also retturned kickoffs for SIU (felt sorry for any attempting to tackle him once he got up to speed)!
Our D played great and held at the end!! Cwik,Keeler, Eneberg, Meyers, Truffant, Philips, Denbeigh, Young and others battled for the D.
*Yes, I looked at the box score but that era was a great kick start to where we are today...winning big games on a regular basis.
**My memory sucks so there were probably better running backs EWU has played against other than Jacobs but remember being scared of Jacobs and Whitlock going into that game.
