Sports Sunday

JG was on Sports Sunday tonight on KGW. Seemed to indicate that they were going to be hitting the local area hard on recruiting with the bye week. Also, indicated that (of course) we'd be hitting the JC's for transfers as well. Hope they have a great week in recruiting.

When asked if he had the decision to go for two again; His response: "Without a doubt."

Well, that means that PSU will lose 80% of those games. However, on the road it's the right thing to do.

I agree with you WiViking, but to some degree, you have to applaud Glanville's guts. I mean most of us complained about Walsh being too conservative, that word cannot be used about Glanville's coaching style.

He was also calling for a two point attempt on the fumbled EP for 2 points. For a guy that has no confidence, (back-up long snapper) all this does is make him more conscious about making a mistake.

It was a good call if we could have set up a play or called a TO to avoid confusion. No TO and a rushed unprepared play led to a broken play. So in this case we should have kicked the ball.

Wasn't that the same exactly play that we scored on with the previous play?

From where I sat it looked like first time Mackins had a step on his man. The second try two or three receivers and the defense were all bunched up with a Lumberjack chasing White breathing down his neck.
