Spring Ball 2018

Yes, go to Hornetsports and you'll find it on the football page after opening the "more" tab. There is a spring schedule there.
 
So spring ball is almost complete. Has anyone gone to any of the practices? No information from the school that I can find. Hard to generate interest when it's hard to know that we have a team...there should be all kinds of promotions and information building on last years success.
 
Yes, this forum sucks. Never going to build fans with this lack of effort (no info provided). Not many complaining so apparently this isn’t a big issue.
 
First winning record in a long time. The school has no $$ for promotions. They just signed Sears for more $$ and I am sure that took any free $$ in the budget. EWU only has 10 games next year.

The bigger question is what has Mark Orr been doing? He was hired with much fanfare and the promotion of the program falls on him. Sears is the anti-promotion kind of person, so dont expect him to be a Volek. Speaking of, what has Volek been doing while on board?

I did see some info on IG, seems the website is not the goto place for promotion.

Berger did say that the schedule would be out in two weeks, that was a week ago. Needed to finalize some things he said.
 
Was late getting to the game but it was well organized. Food trucks in the north end, Hornet Club area in the south end, video board well used. Turnout was better than last year, and more butts in the seats than what visitors typically bring to a regular season game (other than dungpile and montucky). Too bad this wasn’t better promoted and the spring practices leading up to the game weren’t better covered (FB, Youtube), probably would have had even better turnout.
 
Advertising for the Spring game could have been done much better in my opinion. If the Green Army would have targeted Greek Life and Clubs on Campus, I guarantee they could have tripled the attendance and excitement for the game....butttttt I think the student body remembers the success the school had last year, while advertisements have been few and far between, I think the student body will put up better numbers in the coming fall than in years past.
