Spring Game/Scrimmage

I don't think you can read a lot into this sort of an event. However, the run game looked to be as good as ever, There were no bad drops in the pass game, and the defense did some good things with no rest at all. The top quarterbacks have not changed from last year, but looked a little more comfortable. The sideline organization was as good as it has been. All positive. :coffee:

Didn't get a chance to watch the scrimmage. Heard that a lot of our guys were injured and weren't able to go, but should be fine by the start of Fall Camp. One thing a lot of guys on here should be scratching their heads over was the QB play. No, they didn't have a lot of options at WR (most were injured) but each got a chance to show off their stuff. How did it look? Did one look better than the others? Looks like the depth chart at QB is: Clark, Green, Shaw, and Cantwell (why isn't he on the roster? No Dakota Miller??)?

On another note, anyone figure out what happened to Jake Gallegos? Is he done? According to a thread on EGriz most fans aren't giving the Cats, who ended the season with the best defense, much love. I'm not saying the Cats are going to win the league next year, but reality is Weber was one kick and a quarter away from making the playoffs last year. Yes, we were also a kick and a miraculous 4th quarter away from having a 4 win season. Should be another interesting year.
