SPRING SCRIMMAGE 2008!

How ABOUT them Wildcats?!??

Started out a little slowly today, but lots of great athletic talent and football smarts on display!

Briant Etuati and Cameron Higgins showed why they are so SPECIAL!

Eric Lee looked superb!

Mike Snoy was perfect on his kicks!

It was a slow start for the offense, but they turned it on after the "half". One concern to me was the defense gave up some big plays. That was their knock last year, they dominate the game but had a tendancy to give up 1 or 2 big game changing plays. I am assuming we will be ok since I am sure some of the kids that were playing will probably not be out on the field alot.

Hopefully the D will stop giving up 'big' plays. When that happens, is it a long pass, or is it a running play? Also, how did Higgins do as QB? Can't wait for the season and see everyone out there!

Pretty normal for the offense to start slowly in the spring, but with Higgins they sure looked good when they finally found their wheels!

Cameron was impressive not just for his speed and athleticism, but more so for his speed and quality of decision-making and his speed of execution. Wow!

Plus, the offense has so many weapons, and builds space for the passing game with an excellent running game (an vice versa). If Higgins' front line lives up to last year's, he and the team will have a superb year on offense.

Hard to say about the D... Can't wait 'til the season starts!

thanks for the info! word on the street is Higgins has been working his behind off in the off season!!! ran into Higgins' mom and she is very happy. just saw the Green and Black game for university of hawaii...Wildcats will be in a great position for that game. UH will be coming back from a spanking from Florida, and worrying about playing Oregon...ooops, did they overlook Weber State? I think so..... Wildcats have EVERYTHING TO GAIN AND NOTHING TO LOSE in this game. UH's offense looked feeble at best, no #1 QB, entire recieving corps is new, O-line looks porous, and the secondary looks like bacon out there.

Train hard, focus, and execute Wildcats....it is ours for the taking :):):)
