I was at yesterdays scrimmage and was really impressed with the effort and energy that the team has. I would encourage everybody to make it out and support the team over the next two Saturdays. They are moving the right direction and is exciting to see after the last two years. Lots of competition and some very interesting young players. Go Bengals

Thanks a lot for the first hand report from yesterdays scrimmage isubengalfan. I appreciate that. That is great to hear about the energy and effort the team is displaying. That can be infectious. It is great to hear about the "interesting" young players on the team. I thought Coach Kramer and his staff had a nice recruiting class in 2016, those guys are all freshmen coming off of redshirt season last year or sophomores who played and produced at a high level as true freshmen for the Bengals last season. I remember watching all of those players highlight films when they committed to ISU and they were impressive. Of course highlights aren't the true measure of a player because it only shows the good stuff but now all of those guys are on campus for 8 and a half months and are being coached by college level coaches and mentored and pushed by the 20-22 year old veterans. So that helps the young players a lot. Thanks again for the report.
