The Big Sky got a lot more interesting today. Montana lost to Portland State and Weber lost to NAU. This puts Eastern in control in the sense they play everyone they are tied with so truly control their destiny in conference championship race, except Idaho State.
In fear of counting chickens too early I'll say this.
It is really difficult to imagine the committee would not top 4 seed the Big Sky Conference winner if they only have one loss and that is to a Pac 12 team that has a 10 win record (maybe).
Lots of football to be played yet though.

When we win, we've generally had solid wins at that. NAU (tough place to play) was our narrowest at 5 points, with double digits on all others. 4 games at 50+ points so far. We're beating the teams we're supposed to, and manhandling the ones we're supposed to. That's gotta be tough to ignore if the trend continues...

Looks like we came in at #4 on this week's STATS poll. Not super surprised. I think if business is taken care of the rest of the way, we get a 2 or 3 seed. Home field in the playoffs is a pretty huge advantage.
