Stanford

Next up for the chaotic bunch is Stanford on Wednesday, 11-28. The Cardinal, from the Pac-12 and Stanford, CA (technically Palo Alto but they are big enough to have their own town), comes in to this game at 3-3, fresh from taking 7th place in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas. Some big losses for them so far, already playing North Carolina (90-72), Wisconsin (62-46) and Florida (72-49). They do have a pretty good win, getting the game at UNC-Wilmington, 72-59. Sophomore guard Daejon Davis is from Garfield HS in Seattle. The game starts at 7pm and will be on Pac-12 Network.

We are playing Stanford Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. One can listen to the game here -- https://tunein.com/radio/Stanford-Basketball-c100000503/ and here -- http://kzsu.stanford.edu/live/

Now a question. Why are the Vikings the only team in the Big Sky Conference without at least an audio feed of their games? Nine teams have radio coverage home and away. One, Southern Utah has radio coverage of their home games. Sacramento State has an audio feed of both their home and away games.

Oregon, Oregon State, and the University of Portland have their home and away games on the radio in Portland. In fact, we are the only D1 program in the Northwest without home and away radio coverage of their men's basketball games. Very minor league.

We're doing everything except shoot the ball tonight.

Knock some shots down in the second half and we should be golden.

You don’t win if you can’t hit. PSU does lots well. They beat all three losses with someone who can hit 3’s. When you don’t, opposition just clogs the middle. Exactly what happened tonight. Looks as if there’s a reason others passed on a lot of these kids. Although, I know they work very hard.

Having two of your starters going 0-fer from the field in 42 combined minutes won't win you many games.

Geez, we shoot average and we probably would have won this going away.
