Starting Five

I thought that this would be a lot easier today, but it is not.

For those not at the game last night, this is what they went with.
1-McCoy
2-Hansen
3-Davis
4- Panos
5-Morris

Here is what I thing is going to be the best lineup for any time
1-McCoy
2-Illiard
3-Davis
4-Bullinger
5-Panos/Morris
That is a line up that can run, slash, rebound and defend.

I think eventually we are going to see that lineup on the court to start the games, with Morris at the five. Bullinger was really good last night, and he earned some PT last night. He keeps up his hussle, and his drive and he will be a starter.

i dont see panos losing his spot, that could affect team morale especially with steve! unless he starts to play real bad...

I think the starting 5 from last night will be the same starting 5 for the real season. It sure is a huge asset having Lillard and Bullinger come off the bench.

I agree with AJ; however, I think that Lillard will eventually start. I really liked the hustle and enthusiasm last night. It didn't matter who was in, they didn't lose focus and continued to play tough and aggressive.
With some better FT shooting and a little more accuracy Weber would have scored another 10-15 pts.

We know who the five starters are, but who are the top reserves:
1. Benson
2. Lillard
3. Carson
4. Bullinger
5. Mahoney
The nice thing is that Weber has Ramos and Cottle who can both come in and make significant contributions. I like Ramos' hustle and think Cottle is probably the best defensive player on the team.

im sure it was just cuz coach was mad he isn't doing much...

remember last year when danny johnson started? it wasn't because he was our best big man.

hopefully the team is ready to start kickign some booty. they have much potential and haven't come close yet.

That was kinda weird that Davis came off the bench last week against the Y...

Coach said on the pre-game that D-Will is more comfortable coming in off the bench. I also thought Lillard was great tonight, played a solid game, didn't try to do to much, kept everyone in control and made some nice decisions. The potential for greatness is there, let's hope it comes out. Great win tonight, now get ready for SUU!

Starting Five Against SUU:
PG: Lillard
SG: McCoy
SF: Hansen
PF: Bullinger
C: Panos
Top Reserves:
Davis (3 or 2)
Morris (5)
Mahoney (4 or 5)
