Stewart Stadium an intimidation?

Is Stewart Stadium an intimidating place for opposing teams to play? Do teams get up for games played here? Do they find it neat to play in the stadium on the hillside during Fall? I think that it would be real cool to play there. It has a nice feel and cool to look around at the changing leafs and large mountain surroundings. I wonder what the home record for football is? I wonder if we have a pretty decent home record. Will the stadium face lift, I can see WSU having a top football stadium in the Sky, and all of FCS. I love the talk about the upgrades and changes to stadium in the up coming years. Next time you drive past the Stadium on Harrison Blvd. look up to the stadium and see the beauty that surrounds the stadium and how nice it looks. :-D :-D

I know that the Stadium is not the most intimidating place to play, attendance etc. But with time, I can see WSU being a extremely tough place to play!

I would love for Stewart Stadium to be just as hard of a place to play as the Dee is, but it's not quite as intimidating, but it can get pretty loud when a crowd does show up, remember the UNC 4 overtime game??? that game was pretty intense and the Wildcat faithful got pretty loud toward the end.

Visual wise, Stewart Stadium is looks great with the Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake in the backgrounds, Stewart is already the 4th largest Stadium in the Big Sky and that incluedes the teams coming in. And when you look who has bigger Stadiums in the sky, (UM,MSU,PSU, Sac) its pretty impressive. If we could fill it, Stewart Stadium would be considered one of the best FCS football Stadiums in the Nation.

Pack the Stadium Year, lets do it.

Stewart Stadium has a beautiful setting, but 'intimidating' isn't the word I'd use for it. Not yet, at least.

Intimidation isn't exactly a key term I'd use to describe Stewart Stadium. Even when the place has a lot of people there, it isn't very loud.

Well, I've certainly seen Stewart Stadium get pretty damn loud. However, loud doesn't necessarily equate to intimidating.

Like I said earlier, when we went into 4 OT's with UNC toward the end Stewart Stadium was pretty loud.
Yeah, that game was one of my favorite football experiences of all time. Even though the place was only half full by the final overtime, Stewart Stadium was rocking. I was hoarse for two days after. :o

It takes a lot ot get the stadium really loud but for most of the programs at the FCS level they dont make any noise at all. I think we have done a pretty good job getting the stadium loud on 3rd down but we just need a few more of these guys.

We always talk about how we need to get the students involved, whcih of course we do, but we also need to do something to get the older crowds involved, I see so many older people who dont really even cheer, we need to get them on thier feet when it's 3rd down Stewart Stadium can be loud, during our 2010 victory over Montana, the crowds got pretty loud despite there only being 6,000 people there, the homecoming game vs ISU last year where 11,000 people showed up was loud, our problem is we cant keep that going.

Weber really should get a Pack the Stadium year for the 50th year of football going.

Stewart Stadium would be more intimidating if 1) more fans would show up and 2) they'd get into the game a bit more.

Despite this, I still enjoy taking my kids to games.

I don't know about intimidating but from this picture (no, I wasn't there and it is not my picture) from 1992, the scenery was pretty.

Stewart Stadium sits on the bench of the Wasatch Mountains at about 4,500 feet and it has been known to snow during games. http://youtu.be/m52G0jaJfzU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Fortunately for McNeese the game will be early in the year and they won't have to battle any blizzards. Are you making the trip out, Doc?

I'm lucky enough to work with the Wildcat Marching Band. We have a new Director this year and are already sounding much bigger, and louder, than ever before. The band has worked with athletics to take football games in a new direction. We've focused everything the band is doing on creating a traditional college football atmosphere.

Here's hoping the added noise from the band translates to a lot more noise from the crowd.
