More pics to come if anyone is interested. From these pics you can see the new lights haven't been installed yet and the old lights are now gone. Possible upgrades to the cabling or power source so far based on the mountain being dug up between the light post stands on the East side stands.

Sweet good to know that Weber is putting more money into thier sports programs, now lets hope we actually get to play more than 1 night game every umpteenth amount of years

I find it funny that Weber is putting in brand new Stadium Lights and Montana the "Greatest Football team ever" and thier "greatest stadium ever" has no lights at all

I heard they tried a few years back, but their ear wax candles kept getting blown out. One of these days they might get electricity up there.

Any idea of the number of night games that might be played on an annual basis? Sac State has lights but for some reason only home games in the first third of the season are ever night games. The excuse is it gets too cold later in the fall. Is this the same sentiment by the WSU admin about night games? Just curious. :?:

At Weber I do think that weather plays a big part in when games are played. But I'm surprised to hear that that is the case in Sacramento. It doesn't get that cold in Sacramento, does it?

It can drop below well 40 degrees, which I am sure is nothing compared to some of the other BSC locations. I think the weather excuse is used to not have to pay the electric bill for the lights. I also think they claimed that a night game in the "cold" would dramatically reduce attendance. Either way I think every home game should be a night game.
