Strategies to Beat WSU

I have an illogical superstition to making predictions. But I'm interested in the strategies you all have to beat the Cougars.

I think our offense will score enough points to win the game. I think the key will be our defense. I really liked the aggressive play of our secondary against NAU. They did get a lot of PIs but I thought their coverage was tight and aggressive. I think the defense as a whole did pretty good against NAU as they had to suddenly shift their game plan to a somewhat unknown, but athletic and mobile QB when they planned for a pocket type of passer.

So, my strategy for the defense is to maintain that aggressive secondary coverage and emphasize ways to pressure the WSU QB. I watched the SJSU/WSU game and in the second half the SJSU interior DLine started collapsing the WSU OLine and the WSU offense sputterred. The WSU QB (Minshew) seemed pretty solid if he had the time to go through his progressions but seemed less accurate and had to run when SJSU pressured him. So, I think the EAGS need to stunt with wreckless abandon early and make Minshew as uncomfortable as possible. He is already somewhat inconsistent and is nowhere as mobile as the backup NAU QB was, so I don't think he can hurt us with his feet.

Strategy 1A, 1B, and 1C should be to find a way to win the turnover battle. Some of the things you mentioned might help with that.
