Student Section

Being a student on the front lines of the Purple Pack, I can't help but think how much more damage we could do to the opposing team if the student section was on the side of the opposing teams basket in the second half. Maybe we could even post 10 or 20 students behind the basket to lower the opposing teams free throw percentage for the second half. Does anyone know why the student section is where it is, and has anyone talked to the athletic department about moving it?

I have wondered this for 10 yrs...I hate it. As you know Utah has basically the same stadium. They had the students in the same section. I think last yr or hte year before they moved the student section to the more appropriate area.

I think that there needs to be two sections for the students... I remember growing up, there were portable bleachers behind the oppoising teams basket. You could get 15-30 loud students down on the floor... To me that's ideal.
