Stupid NFL....

Nobody took Zach Nash. So the debate becomes a balance between who will pick him up as a free agent and if he'll go in next Thursday's CFL Draft.

Dummies....

Do you have a source for that? Neither the Cardinals' website nor the NFL website indicate that.
Zack Nash's twitter confirms the post, he will be signed as an undrafted free agent to the cardinals.

I also read somewhere that Chase Deader will be going to the Titans

Good luck boys!

I still don't see anything yet, but if Nash tweeted it, that's probably good enough.

This isn't surprising given that both teams are slow to post transactions. AZ hasn't posted one since March, and TN hasn't done so since January. Heck, it took the Rams three months to bother to post their coaching staff. The NFL really ought to hire some better SIDs.

:ohno:

Great news for these two young men and for the Hornet program. I hope a couple others get picked up as FA signings or with the CFL.

Looks like Fleming is no longer with the 49ers.

However, Nash and Deadder made it past the OTA workouts and look to have legitimate shots and making their teams (likely practice squaders)...

Nash is listed as an OLB and has taken #43.

That's unusual. Usually, LBers take numbers in the 50s and 90s (rarely, also in the 60s). Typically, one numbered in the 40s is a RB or a DB. Generally, since the numbering rule went into effect in 1973, the only exceptions are those grandfathered in (all of whom have now retired) or moved from another primary position (example: Raiders TD Todd Christensen with #46, who started his career with the Cowboys as a RB). Recently, receivers started moving back into the teens, a move "officially" started because the generally assigned 80s were running out (retired numbers and the expanded passing game both had an affect there). I wonder if Nash "officially" started out as a DB (or if that's the Cards' cover story with the league).
