• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Excerpt:
I am laying down a challenge to the WSU student body to sport mohawks and help will the WSU basketball team to a Big Sky Championship. They seem to be playing well with only four mohawks, but imagine their potential basketball prowess when playing in front of a stadium full of 11,000 screaming purple mohawks.

I must admit, I am on the fence about shaving a mohawk myself, but I suppose I need to set an example and don the edgy hairstyle soon. If I see a satisfactory number of mohawks in the stands at the Dee Events Center this Thursday when WSU takes on Eastern Washington University, I vow to run my mohawk-donned mug shot in the next installment of "Standing Out".

So if you think you are a committed WSU basketball fan, take a quick look in the mirror. If you don't have a mohawk, you should re-think your status as a WSU sports fan. If you do have a mohawk then hop on the bandwagon and help encourage the rest of the student body to join our mohawk nation.

I say if the students that don't have mohawks better be sporting purple wigs.

Purple wigs are as much a part of WSU bball tradition as the clap til we score.
