• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

SUU/Cal Poly game from Sat

cal poly beat SUU on saturday in a heartbreaker for the tbirds. i really thought SUU would get the win

suu was very close to being ranked as it was and it would have been their 2nd straight win against a ranked team since playing USU where they scored 34 pts (utah scored 35).

Crazy ending!!!!!

in the cal poly game on the road suu scored a TD with 9 seconds left in the game 24-23. SUU missed the extra point so no overtime.

SUU then went for the onside kick and got the ball! unfortunately the QB got sacked and fumbled, cal poly got the ball and the game ended.

SUU is much improved. And this is not necessarily a good thing. Sports is really a zero sum game. Your opponents loss is my gain. Each year WSU fights for recruits with teams in the area (suu, usu, etc...). The more the other teams lose, the more likely players will go to WSU, the more media attention WSU gets, etc. So, I really don't want to see any rival do well, unless that somehow helps WSU in the long run. For example, I want to see Big Sky teams do well in the NCAA BB tournament or FCS playoffs because that contributes to the perception that the BSC is a quality conference and that will eventually help WSU. Otherwise, I hope for suu, usu, and other instate schools to lose. Wildcats first and always!
