SUU/NAU - 2017

A home sweep would be most fitting in the last two games (men's) in the Stott main gym this week.

On a side note, we're now second in the nation in steals per game with our two opponents this week being the worst two BSC teams in turnover margin. Perhaps we can catch West Virginia (11.0 steals per game) and finish the best in the nation for steals this season.

We get to welcome little Peanut to the PSU campus. Hopefully he is not as tenacious as his big brother.

WE WIN, 93-86!

It shouldn't have been that close. Playing a team that has won 5 times this year on your home court with all the talent and athleticism that PSU has, this game should have been over by halftime.

Tough to blow a team out by halftime when said team shoots 81.8% from beyond the arch in the first half.

Isn't that part of the mythology?

Good to close out the Stott Gym with a win. Odd to think that we'll never play a game on that floor again.

I thought we looked pretty good last night. I think we lost a bit of focus with about seven minutes to go, but the game was way out of hand, it didn't really matter.

The defense looked better and was really active. Just another 15 steals. :-)

Hopefully we can keep up the good play with the next two games an surge into the conference tourney on a hot streak. The UND game will be quite interesting given that they're in first and we really took them to the woodshed earlier in the season.

The Gym will abide after construction, won't it? I think the plan may be to use it "more exclusively" for W Volleyball.

The Gym has, and will, always abide. :-)

I think that there are offices going in on the north side that will shift the floor of the gym to the south. Looks like they have already cut away the brick on the exterior for the windows on the lower level (I'm assuming).

Any guesses where we are playing next year? Memorial Coliseum? Chiles Center? Liberty HS? The football practice field?
