SUU @ WSU: Game thread

audio has yet to work for a single home game this year. would be nice if it did.
Agreed. Listening to Arky on the radio two plays behind the video is pretty crappy.

Sheesh. T-Birds hacking WSU like crazy and they can't seem to buy a foul call. That charge call on Wheelwright was awful! The red shirt was riding him like a porn star.

Please, I'd even pay for games for the season if the sound and video would work in synch.....
Just put a ticket in to BSTV.....disgusting!!

I sure hope Lillard is getting credit for all these assists. He has at least six so far. Let's see if they catch em all on the stat sheet.

Stat of the night, Scott Bamforth does not take a shot. :yikes: Did Rahe ban him from shooting?
Late in the game, Bamforth had a great look he passed up. Randy quickly called time and you could see him ripping Scott a new one on the bench. So, I doubt that was the case.

Way to bounce back. Outside of the 41-point explosion, that was the best game I've ever seen Lillard play. He was efficient, and the 9 assists was incredible. He had 18 points halfway through the second half and then went off for about 10 points in less than three minutes. The whole team seemed to settle down, ran their offense and the overall shot selection was a vast improvement from the last couple of games. Tresnak ate 'em for lunch (which I thought he might) and even Byron "The Black Hole" Fulton connected on most of his shots. I'll take it. Can't find too many things to complain about in this one.

I think a major point to be taken is that this team always has to "play with a chip on their shoulder". We are Weber State, we should be PISSED off that we don't get the respect that we deserve. We've got the #1 scorer in the country, we're the top of the Big Sky, we have an AWESOME men's athletics program across the board. We need to take ourselves seriously and not be shy of who we are. WE ARE WEBER!

At the end of chewing out Scotty, Coach Rahe patted him on his face twice, l thought that was classic. Discipline and then show some love...

This game was a step forward on a couple of fronts. There were actually some passes that came out of the post and that, in turn, opend up the post on other occasions. I saw players actually try to box out in this game. The result of that is we did better on the boards. We didn't seem to rush as many shots and seemed to shoot a higher percentage. The defensive intensity was good for most of the game.

Dame actually had 18 at half time. He only scored 13 after the half. Coach did note that they worked on shot selection after the ybu game.

My audio didn't work first half. But it started working toward the end of the halftime break and seemed pretty good... At least until about 8 mins left, when I turned it off.

Alot of ball rotation seemed to open up alot of shots. Also Dame had some great pick n rolls. He had more assists (9) than we did all game vs B.Y.U (7). Great game :thumb:

Why didnt Scotty take a shot? whats going on there?

Other than that, I think this is the game we Weber fans were waiting for.

Great game Weber
