I absolutely agree with that.
For years Swoop was barely noticeable. He was just there because football games needed mascots. But now he's a star. I mean people were making videos of him and putting them online. Fans were cheering and taking photos. He got the crowd pumped up. And he was a rockstar in Frisco. He was just another perfect piece of last year's perfect season. It all came together.
And I don't know how many of you sports fans check out Barstool Sports, but if you do, you were probably shocked like me when you saw this on one of the Barstool sites.
Warning - not the nicest language
Obviously this was sent in from an EWU fan. And Barstool Sports is primarily located on the east coast. So Swoop is famous all over the country.
After this blog post, several other readers sent in videos of their mascots and the blog writer always compared it to Swoop

SWOOP, is a Male. We met him at the start of BB Season. I think he is a Junior, do not quote me, I will check next time we see him. He comes up to where we sit at the BB Games, and does his stuff. :lol: He really keep the spectators laughing at all the BB Games. He is at the Men/Women perfoming. He is very talented.
