i learned first hand that we aren't good tailgaters when every road game i have been to out of the state of utah i saw good tailgating. most schools cover all 4 sides of the stadium tailgating, some of them dont even make it in to the game at kick off if at all.
colorado state has the best set up, go if you get the chance. the stadium is in a big field, perfect setup for tailgating.
nau was hilaroius, they hosted weber for homecoming a few yrs back. we got their late. we ran from the bus to the dome, we were running past all kinds of tailgaters in no here to get to the game. when we got inside weber had already scored a td. that yr we played in 3-4 homecomings and i think won them all then the next yr we weren't in anyones homecoming.
montana is the best, 20,000 of the 27k leave the stadium at half time to continue tailgating.
utah tailgates but i wasn't impressed when i went there in 2008, maybe our state sucks at tailgating but after my out of state observations there is one big reason why tailgating isn't being utah. the majority doesnt drink. tailgating 101 is a grill and a cooler of beer. or wsu style , mtn dew.
i enjoyed tailgating at all the wsu home games the past 2 seasons, people are very friendly when tailgating at wsu and all the road games.
usu guys should start tailgating, makes game day a lot more fun. try and move the grill with a truck though as talhad broke mine dragging it behind a car.
