His injury at the end of the game looked serious. I feel so bad for these kids that work for years to get to the National Championship game and in one second it ends. We have several other guys that are in the same situation. All I can say is THANK YOU for all you've done for the program, and my enjoyment as a fan.

I will hold out hope for him until I hear otherwise, but those non contact injuries generally aren't good. If he is done for this year, hopefully he has a good offseason recovery regimen and comes back ready to tear it up next season.

His knee completely buckled. Hopefully just a little tendon damage, but it certainly appeared to be worse. Best of luck to him.

lets say "give it hell", tear it up may not be the best methphor

I'm getting tired and down for all these players and injury's. Hurts my heart. So weird that it feels like we have such a different team than we did when we started this season. So proud of players who have stepped up (didn't know we were this deep). Embarrassed to say I don't know who most of our players are now, find myself checking bio's all over again. But then I'm old, fat and stupid.

Isn’t it strange that Antoine Custer hasn’t been getting the rock a lot lately?

It has been my assumption that he was injured and has come back the last two games with limited carries because of this. But, I could be 100% wrong.

Custer got injured early on in the Nichols game, didn’t play against UC-Davis, and then came back in a limited role against Maine. I’m guessing he’ll be close to 100% for NDSU.

Haven’t heard much of anything regarding Pearce, but my assumption is it’s probably MCL/ACL and out for the chipper. Which is a total bummer, because he’s been a great cleanup guy for us this year.

It's been nice being able to throw all the guys at you. McPherson is one cut and go, Custer is extremely shifty and Pierce will just run you over. It's a shame he got hurt.
