Tavian Percy Transferring

Just saw Tavian in the transfer portal. I know he was hurt pretty much the entire season. I heard he could be a good player, but sucks he was hurt. Curious if he is leaving because of the injury or playing time. Either way, I hope he lands on his feet. With Tavian leaving we now have 2 open spots. Who do we target with the 2 openings? We are really SR and JR heavy. I would think we go after SO or FR transfers. Best players available. Maybe look at the JC's or even a high school kid.

We can sign anywhere from 2 to 5 guys if we want. The three returning seniors do not count against the 13 grant limit. Not sure how many we will choose to sign, but I can see the possibility of a guard and a couple of big men coming in. The transfer portal will remain quite active through June and July.

I really liked Tavian. He has a lot of potential. However, when we brought in Overton it pushed him down a bit in the rotation. I'm sure that he will land somewhere good for him. From what I could see, he was not unhappy with WSU and WSU was not unhappy with him. It looks to only be a PT issue. :coffee:
