My feed cut out before NAU could make their last inbounds play. Can anyone provide a view (unbiased) of the dustup that happened? Sounds like both teams, and coaches, got into a little scuffle?

Or a biased view. That works. ;)

In most cases, the Griz fan's game recap on egriz.com is pretty unbiased. Check page 5 of the game thread. Sounds like no punches thrown but Murphy lost it. No video, as of yet.

I kinda figured DeCuire and Murphy had a shouting match of some kind. They're both pretty intense / fiery coaches. Thanks for the info, Jack!

Was at the game, saw the whole thing with a very clear view and I don't think any punches were thrown. Sounds like Murphy may have put a finger in DeCuire's chest when DeCuire was trying to shake his hand but that's about the extent of it except for some jawwing at each other. It was a hell of an emotional, tense and very physical game so I hope no punishment is dished out towards NAU's coach over that. During postgame interviews it sounds like he came over and shook DeCuires hand, so things calmed down a bit. No harm, no foul basically.

The fan in the front row who got beaned by Murphy's clipboard earlier in the game might disagree :P

I think that was an NAU fan though. Very intense game made even more intense by the inconsistent as hell ref'n (against both teams). First half people could shank each other and no fouls were called. Second half seemed to be just the opposite, look at someone wrong and they jerk like they were fouled and instant foul.

Hate it when the refs are inconsistent. Hell of a game though... NAU's got a good coach and a great recruiter there so I'm guessing they'll be right back in the hunt next year too.

Cant wait for tomorrows game! Best D in conference VS the Best O. Sounds kind of familiar doesn't it? Personally I hope the results are a little different than they were in football though...

Whoever wins though it's going to be a team that could (maybe...hopefully...) surprise another team in the NCAA tournament. Both teams have a lot of talent, very good coaches and if they play like they are capable of could pull off an upset!
