Tevin McDonald to play in East-West Shrine Game

The East-West Shrine Game is similar to the Pro-Bowl for CFB, right? That's awesome! I'm expecting to see McDonald in the NFL/CFL later in his career. It's nice that the game takes place later in January.

Yeah, that's a pretty good comparison. The Senior Bowl and the Shrine Bowl are regarded as the two most prestigious all-star games at the college level, but playing in any postseason game is good for a player's stock, as pro scouts will watch them all.

Also, there will be a game this year called the 'FCS National Bowl' that will focus on players from said level, so I'm curious to see if anyone from Eastern will wind up there as well.
