Thank you Coach Best

If Coach Leach's observations are correct then rectifying player attitude by communication and bench therapy is his responsibility. However, publicly demeaning players is petty, counter-productive, totally unprofessional, could lead to litigation, and should be addressed as such by his administrative superiors, The PAC 12, and The NCAA. The cited press conference is a very negative example of leadership, even if it is the truth.

Easterners love Coach Best.

#1 Coach Leach is saying the truth. His team is soft and they’ve made a habit out of folding when the other team is applying pressure.

#2 WSU was less than nothing, maybe the single worst BCS program, before he got there.

You may not like the man personally, but this is big boy football and he gets results. WSU is very lucky to have him.

Really like Coach Best, didn't think I would. Disappointed in many aspects of the overall performance this season and think it's coaching related (lots of changes, not sold on fit, etc..) but FDH plays a role when any successful team falls off after a great season. Leach ain't wrong and he obviously believes calling it out is the only thing that may turn it around. He called out the team not any one player. He's not always likable. Don't think this type of coaching would work at Eastern, but it can and should at WSU where the depth chart is a lot deeper. Will be interesting to see if WSU turns it around. Eastern Washington (WSU and EWU) teams have taken a couple of bad beats this season for sure.
