We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

I wish they could have been sent off with a win.

Not to be a sourpuss, but can college sports stop with the tradition of starting seniors if they're not normally starters? I've seen games before where a team will start seniors, and on the very first possession, will call a time out to bring them out. In the game tonight, I though the team seemed out of sorts, no chemistry, and that first half decided the game. Some regular starters like Stutzman didn't enter the game until the 13:00 mark. I want to see them play, but why change your entire game plan for one game?

You could tell the last minute or so of the game was a new situation for both players and coaches. The game management seemed odd. I didn't understand the fouling so early either, but let's hope they can learn from it for the road to Reno.

They obviously did not hire Evans to win. He was 40 something percent wins at S.U.U., and around 32 percent here. He must be working for nothing. But even that should not be enough to keep him.

I agree to a certain extent. Evans was brought in to help clean up the APR mess O'Brien left, and there was no doubt he'd run a clean program. That was important because of the Martin/Jolley mess.

As far as winning, I do think this will be the best you get. Defense is disappointing, and the offense has so much potential being wasted. When the crowd yelling has to be the motivating force to get Novak to shoot the ball when he's open, instead of the coaches, then something just seems off.

Every post game is the same. "I'm disappointed. I'm proud of my players. They played hard." Repeat.

Being new to this post. What was the mess that APR mess by Obrien?
And what was the Jolly/Martin mess?

SUU has only won 30% of their games since Evans was fired (98-228).

The Bengals were perched on the edge of drawing the NCAA’s ire because of a average four-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) score below 930.
Under Evans, ISU’s men’s basketball APR scores of 965 and 1,000 have helped Idaho State avoid NCAA sanctions.
