All this talk about us being broke and cash-starved and taking buses just reinforces to me about how ignorant Oregonians are about the Big Sky. The top three programs last year in the conference in regards to football funding were the two Montana schools and North Dakota, and then there is a big dropoff to EWU and Poly (#4 and #5). Every school in the conference buses roughly about two to three times a year. We are no different. Montana State flew to Portland last week, but they have bused here in years past. Montana has bused here before. EWU, ISU, Davis and Sacramento State regularly bus here when they play us. Granted, most of the conference schools are not near a major airport so to travel, they would bus, then fly, then probably bus again in one trip. Busing is also more prevalent back east as well. What we are doing is not any different than any other FCS team. It may seem highly unusual for a Pac-12 fan, but it is pretty normal at this level.
