The Bobs on Saturday

MSU has a good club this year. They have everyone back from last year and added a 3 star wing transfer from the PAC12. They can do a little of everything, but try to work it into their big man inside, Bello. He can also hit the three if you leave him open. They recently won a close game with EWU on their home floor. I would say that Bello was the difference in that game. They do have some outside shooting to go along with their inside game.

We match up well with them. Against EWU they didn't help down on the post. Bassett might have a good game if he can stay out of foul trouble. We just have to play honest D on their perimeter players. Again, who we switch on and who we don't, can be a key to our success.

I hope we can get another good crowd. :coffee:

I actually think Montana State resting up due to postponed game might have them a little rusty out of the gates. Maybe they can even it out at the end wit more energy, but I don’t think it will be a factor overall.

I think the Wildcats win by 8, but still another tightly contested game. A win would be huge and help create some more separation.

The toughest road game left will be at EWU next week. After that, it’s a very favorable schedule down the stretch. Like how they have fought and had a lot of contributors…sure beats the days of Senglin taking 75% of the shots.

Well the hard fought game with Montana while Montana State rested hurt a lot. The Bengals are beating the Griz big as well. Maybe the Wildcats and Griz should have faked a COVID exposure to eliminate the disadvantage they were put in.

Wildcats are still in a better position with schedule down the stretch, so just need to shake it off and start a new winning streak next week.

Tale of two teams. Cats were exhausted, Bobs weren't. It is what it is. Move on. Remember, with the tournament format, it really doesn't matter who gets #1. What matters is getting a first round bye. After that there aren't any advantages.

the bobs seemed out of this world...or sky! that wasnt the same team we beat in bozeman. i think i read it was the biggest beating we ever took from the bobs in ogden.
