The Bottom Line

The bottom line is: ISU football has not got any better since Z has been here period. In fact, it has taken steps backwards. We all know ISU had no chance today, but when you start to look for morale victories, and Z puts on the same quotes over and over each week " We played hard, we fought hard" blah, blah, blah. The boys are tired of him especially the underclassman, the seniors were glad there was no change this year but he needs to go with this Senior class Period. I just can't believe how our expectations have dropped so much over the past 5 years in all our sports. The argument some people put on here, that Tingey's hires have been good. The people he has hired have been 500 coaches period. I don't blame Tingey, I think he is a nice man, I blame Pres. Vailis, who got us in this mess. He signed off on the Z hire after we were turned down by others, He wanted Lewis fired and had the Athletic Department suffer through while they tried to make up the loss of money . I think and many athletes feel the same, its starts at the top with Vailis Period. Tingey does what he is told, and Vailis has made some poor choices and had others take the fall. The Bottom line, ISU needs to start over, with a new Football Staff, and hopefully someday soon and new President. Lets hope someday, we get a President that Loves Athletics, and then some real change will happen. That's the Bottom Line. :)
