at least in name. Matt Dougherty of The Sports Network reports that the NCAA Division I Board of Directors meet this week, and most agree that the current nomenclature which identifies division I football will disappear. All programs will be identified as Division I, Bowl or Playoff Division.

In addition, a 12 game regular season schedule for I-AA (er, Playoff Division) teams could become a reality this week as well...
