The Game Saturday

Congratulations on a nice come from behind win on Saturday. These guys make it more exciting than they need to. I have a few thoughts about the game.

1. When will the defense stop the run early in the game? Against just about every opponent, they do a poor job in the first half and then eventually stop the run towards the end of the game.

2. Higgins was great - seemed to be back to his old self. Great to see this and hope it continues for the rest of the year.

3. Only 1 turnover and that was not Higgins fault. The receiver tipped the ball into the air allowing for the INT. Nice job of protecting the ball in bad weather.

4. I listened to the post-game radio interview with MAC and he stated that Higgins made all the calls towards the end of the game (calling audibles). The offense looked great at the end - so why don't we have Cam call all the plays from here on on out :D

5. Few penalties - great job!

From what I saw on Saturday, I think the team is turning the corner. They limited the TO's, penalties, and stupid mistakes that plagued them against EWU and Suck St. If the win out, and that is a big if, I think they will go to the playoffs. They still control their own destiny and things are starting to come together.
Go Cats!

Yeah I agree about the run game, but the Pistol like the Triple option is a hard running offense to stop.

I hope Weber plays a complete game vs the Griz, the defense showed up for ISU, the offense showed up for PSU, now its time for them to both show up.

GO WILDCATS

Easy formula, reduce the turnovers, and everyone complete their assignment......and a WIN is inevitable. Nice to see everyone pitching in for the victory.

Now let's go get some Grizz.....last time down here, they got THUMPED....not the weather, not the refs...THEY GOT BEAT, and to this day have a hard time admitting that.......GO CATS
